MailShot- A Unique Group Email App Goes Pro
Soluble Apps today releases a new Pro version of its unique MailShot group email app for iOS devices, adding a second purchasing option alongside its existing try-before-you-buy free version. MailShot is the only app to allow iPhone and iPad users to email groups of up to 50 people from within their favorite apps by selecting a single contact from their address book. These contacts can be easily used to email groups of family or friends, classes, work or sports teams.
Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom – Soluble Apps is happy to announce that a new version of its unique MailShot group emailing solution is now available on the App Store. MailShot Pro 1.41 is the only app on the Store to build group emailing right into the address book like it was part of your device.
MailShot creates and manages special contacts which email groups of friends, workmates or teammates easily in Mail, or almost any other app on the device when selected. In addition to the convenience this brings, it makes MailShot the only easy way to do a number of essential things on iPhone or iPad, such as forwarding an email with attachments to a group of people. You can also now import contact groups from your address book directly into MailShot.
The original version of MailShot will continue to be available as a free download for small groups of contacts, with an in-app purchase available to allow up to 50 groups of 50 contacts or more. The new Pro edition of MailShot will sit alongside the first, as a single purchase of the fully-upgraded version. You can tell the new version by its distinctive golden envelope icon.
Peter Johnson, Soluble’s founder and Lead Developer said: “We developed this new version because fans of the original wanted to be able to gift the app to others, and some large companies asked us about installing MailShot on a number of machines they were issuing to staff. The in-app purchase doesn’t let you do either of those things. This is all part of our ongoing policy of listening to user requests and trying to give them what they need.”
“We have also found that many users are not yet used to the in-app purchase system, or the concept that the free version can be upgraded directly within the app. Hopefully this new version will help them too.”
