Soluble Apps is thrilled to announce that “MailShot Pro”, their unique group email solution, is the only app to enable sending email to groups with Siri, just as easily as to a single contact.
Siri is amazing, you can use it to create and send emails to the contacts in your address book just by asking. But it only works with the built-in apps that Apple provide, so if you want to use it with, say, a conventional group email app, you would be out of luck.
The unique way in which MailShot integrates with the apps on your device to provide group email everywhere, lets you use Siri to send email to groups of friends or colleagues as easily as you would to a single contact. Just say “send email to groupname” and it creates an email to everyone in “groupname”. Its as easy as that!
MailShot creates a special contact in your address book for each group- send an email to that contact and it gets sent to the whole group. This means it also works directly from apps like Photos and Maps, as well as from the Mail app itself.
And because it integrates with Mail, it is also the only easy way to forward received emails on to your groups, with all attachments intact.
Since its original release in February 2011, MailShot has been continually updated to add additional features based on requests from its tens of thousands of users, such as quickly turning your address book groups into MailShot groups, and fast contact import from the addressbook.
It is available on the App Store in two versions, the full “MailShot Pro” app, and “MailShot”- a free, lite version that you can upgrade to Pro through an in-app upgrade.
It runs on all iPhones from 3GS up to iPhone4S, recent iPod Touches and on both models of iPad.
*iPhone4S is currently required to use Siri.
