I am pleased to announce the launch of EditPoint, a brand new app for reviewing and marking up audio files.
I was amazed to find there seemed to be no app on the store that would let me listen back through a podcast I had been working on, and easily make notes of a glitch I had to fix, or a gap I should make longer or shorter, etc. whilst I was taking the dog for a walk, or travelling somewhere.
Once you have listened through, it is easy to make the changes to the file in an editing package later, as each marker comes with a timecode to mark where it is in the file. That list can be shared by email to another device (or colleagues, if someone else is doing the edit.)
This app will be invaluable for anyone working on Podcasts, Radio shows, audio drama, Ads, or any other audio production.
Editpoint requires a subscription to edit markers, but it is very reasonably priced, and has a 14-day free trial which you can cancel at any time at no charge. When unsubscribed you can still view the markers you placed whilst subscribed.
EditPoint is available on the App Store for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and iPad Pro- running iOS12 and higher.
